How Does One Develop an AI Readiness & Judgment Framework for Their Organisation in Bahrain?
AI is already embedded in the tools your teams use daily. A Goldman Sachs analyst recently shared that what
takes him a full day, an AI assistant created in just 10 minutes.
If you run a business in Bahrain – whether in financial services, logistics, healthcare, real estate, retail, or government – this shift matters. Economic Vision 2030 is driving digital transformation across all sectors. But does your organisation have the judgment to use AI wisely, or will it simply produce high volumes of polished but low-value output? Researchers call this “work slop” – AI content that looks professional but lacks substance. The estimated cost? $186 per employee per month in wasted time.
This framework helps you identify where AI adds genuine value – and where human decision-making remains essential.
What Are We Measuring?
Every workflow has two dimensions:
• Execution Displacement Potential (EDP) – How much of this task is structured, repeatable work AI can handle? Higher EDP means AI can take more off your team’s plate.
• Judgment Intensity (JI) – How much does this task require informedhuman decisions? A financial model built in minutes has little value if it models the wrong scenario. When production becomes nearly free, value shifts to people who know what is worth producing.

Three Steps to Make This Work
Step 1: Map Your Workflows. List every recurring knowledge workflow – finance, HR, strategy, compliance, sales, and operations. For each, ask: “If an AI tool could handle this tomorrow, what would actually change?” Build an inventory of 20 – 50 workflows. Consider data sensitivity, particularly when handling regulated information.
Step 2: Score Honestly. Score each workflow on both EDP and JI. Involve the people who perform these tasks daily – not just IT. For EDP, use real benchmarks: one sovereign wealth fund saved 213,000 hours using AI in Excel; a global insurer saw document review speed increase 5x while accuracy improved from 75% to over 90%. For JI, ask: “If AI produced this perfectly in 10 minutes, what would a human still need to verify or decide?” Multiply EDP × JI to get a Priority Index (PI) from 1 to 25.
Step 3: Map and Decide. Plot workflows on the matrix below. The higher the PI, the stronger the case for AI deployment.

Call to Action
AI is not waiting for your organisation to be ready. Every month you delay, your competitors gain ground – saving
thousands of hours, improving accuracy, and freeing their best people to focus on decisions that matter. The organisations in Bahrain that will lead are not those with the most advanced tools. They are those who act now to understand where AI adds value and where human judgment remains irreplaceable. Start this week:
1. Identify your first 10 workflows using this framework
2. Score them honestly with the people who do the work
3. Automate your first green-zone task within 30 days
Do not wait for the perfect strategy. Start small, learn fast, and refine quarterly. These tools are evolving rapidly – every
quarter you revisit this framework, you will find new workflows ready for transformation that were not ready before. The cost of inaction is not standing still. It is falling behind while others move forward. The framework is in your hands. The next step is yours .
