Yusuf Ismail Mudhafar Ali​

Mr. Yusuf Ismail Mudhafar is the Founder, Partner, and Chairman of Mudhaffar Public Accountant, with over 36 years of auditing experience. He has held senior roles in top international audit firms, specializing in banking, insurance, and major industries across national and multinational corporations, including National Bank of Bahrain, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, Bahrain Islamic Bank, and Al-Baraka Islamic Banking, and SIDEM.

A respected leader and strategic decision-maker, Mr. Mudhafar has been instrumental in government financial planning, policymaking, and regulatory oversight. As an authorized signatory for the Bahrain Promotion and Marketing Board (now Bahrain Development Board), he managed high-level financial responsibilities and continues to serve in critical government assignments.

His legal expertise was key in landmark court cases, including Bahrain Islamic Investment Company vs. Ernst & Young (EY), where his expert report led to a final ruling in his favor. He has also served as a court-appointed financial expert in major corporate disputes across Bahrain and the GCC, including a decade-long custodianship at Jaweed Factories, once the world’s largest garment factory.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Illinois, Mr. Mudhafar received official recognition from the University of Illinois, earning an invitation to lecture as a leading speaker. He also holds an Advanced Level Diploma in Banking and has extensive insurance and reinsurance expertise, leading audits for institutions such as Bahrain International Insurance Company and Bahrain Islamic Insurance Company.

Despite challenges from influential figures and authorities, unjust decisions against him were overturned, with damages compensated. His unwavering integrity and expertise proved indisputable, securing his status as a globally recognized leader in auditing, financial governance, and professional ethics, shaping the industry and serving the global financial community.
